Tofu Chocolate Mousse

​Tofu in your chocolate mousse? Believe it! This recipe delivers a perfectly delicious and nutritious dessert that's naturally protein-packed.

Ingredients

1 block Silken Tofu

 

100g 75%+ Dark Chocolate

 

2 tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

 

3 tbsp Maple Syrup

 

Yogurt of your choice

 

Pomegranate seeds, crushed nuts of your liking & dark chocolate shavings to top

Method

1. Before you start, take the tofu out of the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

 

2. Melt your dark chocolate until smooth.

 

3. Open the silken tofu, and discard the water in the packaging.

 

4. Add the tofu, unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup and melted dark chocolate into the food processor.

 

5. Blend until it forms a consistent mousse. You may have to stop the food processor a few times, scrape down the sides of the bowl and repeat until all the ingredients come together.

 

6. Transfer the mousse into ramekins or glass cups, top with toppings of your choice and cool in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.
